The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On the Rates of Excise Duty on the Tobacco Goods" as a Basis

The Bill (Reg. No.4202) introduces amendments to the effective Law that establish fixed rates of excise duty imposed on a unit of the production sold, namely: for cigars, including cigars with ends cut off, and cigarillos (small cigars) with tobacco contents, in the amount of 60 UAH for 100 units (instead of current 100 UAH for 1000 units); for tobacco and tobacco substitutes, other, of industrial manufacture; "homogenized" or "restored" tobacco; tobacco extracts and essences in the amount of 25 UAH for 1 kg (instead of 0 UAH).
